Nike Kobe 9 Mid EXT Black/Gum

The Kobe 9 has gone through so many different versions at this point its hard to keep up at times. Thankfully Nike has blessed us with another clean EXT version of the Mid cut signature mamba release with this Black/Gum bottom makeup. Hints of grey accents break up the mostly black upper and of course that lovely classic gum bottom that works on nearly any shoe you throw it on. You can look for these to officially drop on 8/23 at select Nike retailers for $225 USD. Continue below for some alternate angles all of which look equally as good.

Nike Kobe 9 Elite Low Beethoven/Michael Jackson

Two of the most solid releases of the Kobe 9 low are on the way with these special elite versions dedicated to Beethoven and Michael Jackson. The first pair to drop will be the purple colorway which is dedicated to Michael Jackson and will be available 7/12/14. Nike says: "The KOBE 9 Elite Low Hyper Grape is linked to music and its ability to transcend the decades, with artists, songs and dance moves that stand the test of time. The purple upper pays homage to pop music and includes a moon surface graphic on the outsole.".

The second pair, Beethoven, sports a mix of black and white flyknit materials which is definetaly one of our personal favorites. Nike states: “The KOBE 9 Elite Low brings Bryant’s muses to life. The artistry of music and its ability to move and inspire people has always intrigued the athlete. From classical to pop, he has appreciation for multiple genres.”. This last pair will be dropping a little later on 8/16/14 so mark your calendars for both.

Nike Basketball All Star Collection 2014

Nike is set to drop the official All Star Collection for the upcoming NBA All Star Game which is in New Orleans this year. The Lebron 11, Kobe 9 Elite and KD VI all get the special treatment with the unique pattern and similiar color pallete the three shoes share. You can look for all three shoes to drop on Valentines day 2/14 at Nike.com and select retailers everywhere. Continue below for some additional detailed shots.

Nike Kobe 9 “Masterpiece” On Foot

As soon as the Kobe 9 was officially confirmed to have the boot like look to it im sure we werent the only ones wondering what this shoe would look like on foot away from the court. Well here you go thanks to the guys over at Modern-Notoriey.

It is definetaly a love it or hate it look and we know there will also be an alternate low top version available at a later date in 2014 so hopefully these will be reserved for court use only.
