New Balance 998 Horween Leather

We have to admit, we were a little on the fence regarding these "Horween Leather" 998's when early pictures were floating around weeks ago but after looking at these shots courtesy of UBIQ we are completely sold. The two shoe pack consists of two amazing and high quality 998's draped in Horween Leather.

J.Crew x New Balance 998 Concrete Jungle

J.Crew and New Balance are back at it once again with a follow up to their highly popular Independence Day release. The "Concrete Jungle" 998 features a mix high quality green suede's and nubuck accents with a tan midsole which also sports some well places orange hits as well. As with all J.Crew x New Balance collaborations you can bet these will be high on the quality meter.

You will be able to secure a pair officially first on 9/13 at J.Crew Men's store's which include three locations: the Liquor Store in NYC, Copley Place in Boston, and On Lan Street in Hong Kong. After that they will be available at most other J.Crew locations and online on 9/17 here.

J.Crew x New Balance 998 Independence Day

It's always a major event whenever J.Crew and New Balance get together on a shoe and this latest project between the two menswear giants may be there best to date. This "Independence Day" 998 sneaker features a red, white and blue themed color palette and for obvious reasons. You can be rest assured that your going to get that same quality Made in America pedigree that the 998 is known for especially on a shoe that is paying homage to the good ol' USA.

The shoes will be available in extremely limited numbers only at the Liquor Store New York, The Grove in Los Angeles, and On Lan in Hong Kong on 6/14 at 10am local time so make your arrangements now if you want a pair. If the shoes themselves weren't enough they are even throwing in a special Ebbets Field cap made especially for this drop only available for the first 20 customers in each line at the event.
