The Stan Smith could easily be considered the catalyst for the adidas Originals takeover over the last couple years and while we love the classic all white and green colorway its always nice to see a properly done alternate colorway pop up.

adidas Stan Smith x Opening Ceremony Pony Hair

Some silhouettes work with nearly anything you throw at them and this adidas Stan Smith x Opening Ceremony collab is a perfect example. The "Pony Hair" covered upper is something that only works in certain situations but this is definitely one of them. Taking the very popular "Triple Black" theme and upping the ante some, they have managed to give the all black shoe some extra texture and life thanks to the premium materials and great execution that Opening Ceremony is known for.

adidas Stan Smith x Pharrell Solid Pack

One of adidas's most recent acquisitions to its vast lineup of endorsed entertainers, Pharrell Williams, finally gets his own official collaboration with the three stripes. In combination with a set of classic track jackets the Stan Smith's shown above entitled the "Solid Pack" are three simple but very well done consortium releases.

A black, blue and red colorway will be available on 9/20 at a select few retail locations worldwide. You can bet these will be sporting some premium materials and high quality attention to detail from top to bottom. adidas Stan Smith by Raf Simmons Spring/Summer 2015

While several of the adidas x Raf Simmons drops from their latest Spring/Summer 2015 collection left us a little salty there was however a shining light from the collection thanks to the classic Stan Smith silhouette. The timeless low top gets the Raf treatment with a few well done versions with a luxury twist that Raf Simmons is known for when collaborating with adidas.

The red, navy blue and classic white/kelly green colorways are all examples of a collab at this level done the right way. None of that trying to hard to be different nonsense that filled the rest of the collection. Not to say the other pieces wont sell because you know they will but that doesn't mean much for the longevity of the partnership. You can look for these to drop in February of 2015.

adidas Originals Stan Smith Reflective Pack

adidas Originals once again come correct with the base being the classic Stan Smith. This time around they look to brighten things up with this "Reflective Pack" which features plenty of 3m throughout and some nice faux-snakeskin leather accents to really bring the shoe to another stratosphere. One primarily black pair and an alternate grey version are included in the pack with both sitting on a classic white sole.

We are more than satisfied with this latest drop of the classic Stan Smith and also know there are several others soon to come that will hopefully live up to this stellar release. adidas Skateboarding Stan Smith Vulc White/Royal

The Stan Smith invasion is in full effect with one after another releases of this classic adidas model. The latest version to surface is this Skateboarding "Vulc" version which obviously features a skate influenced vulcanized sole. The striped down model has an all canvas upper with a lighter and thinner inner construction and extra hints of skate influence on the sole with its python tread and other little treats like the updated tounge graphics which feature a fuzzy mustache on Stans face. adidas Stan Smith Primeknit

The classic Stan Smith gets a fresh update thanks to adidas's recent technology upgrade known as Primeknit. The Flyknit rival features a fully knitted upper which could'nt come at a more perfect time weather wise as these will be perfect for the hot Summer days. The shoes feature the classic all white with a hint of kelly green colorway which you can't go wrong with no matter which way you slice it. adidas Stan Smith “Elephant Leather”

2014 is definetaly the year of the Stan Smith if your an adidas fan. The classic tennis court shoe has had several well done renditions features different materials and colorways but this "Elephant Leather" version may be our favorite to date. The shoe features an all elephant leather upper which is something you dont see every day. Just when you think it cant get any better they went ahead and threw some red snakeskin on the heel just to bring the shoe over the top. Big kudos to adidas on this one they did it right on all angles. Look for these available now online at Caliroots here and also look for them at select adidas retailers worldwide.

adidas Originals Spring/Summer 2014 Stan Smith Suede Pack

adidas Originals comes strong once again with some suede offerings on their classic Stan Smith. The three color pack features a sea green, red and blue option to keep you covered no matter what your favorite color pallete may be, our personal favorite has to the be the sea green version. Make sure to look out for these on 3/1 at select adidas Originals locations worldwide. Continue below for some addtional shots of the entire pack.

Primative x Adidas Stan Smith

The Primative LA crew has teamed up with Adidas Originals to pump out this well done classic Stan Smith. Using a orange upper with hints of navy blue this looks like it would be a Spike Lee edition of some sorts. They finished it off with some striped laces some special markups on the tongue and lace locks.
